Programs are available for those interested in developing their singing or speaking voice to its fullest potential. ABOUT YOUR VOICE Each of us has a unique, natural voice. According to the Voice Director of the Royal Shakespeare Company, Cicley Berry1, how the individual arrives at their own particular voice is an intricate mixture of the following conditioning factors; |

THE PROGRAMS A combined approach incorporating both traditional and alternative methods has been adopted. The focus is on developing techniques such as:

Private lessons are presented on an individual, one-to-one basis (unless alternative arrangements are made) and are approximately one hour in length. Students receive handouts for each lesson. For the private and Corporate sector, workshops are tailored to suit the clients needs and time frames. Participants receive workbooks outlining theory notes and exercises. Clients include individual schools/colleges in the Education derpartment |

YOUR TEACHER Connie K. Andersen (B.A. Dip Ed.) has taught since 1977 in both New South Wales (NSW) and Western Australia (WA). She began singing professionally in 1983. Connie currently performs in WA, and has also sung in Europe and on Asian Television. She draws on her experience as well as teaching skills to develop this program. |

As well as offering private tuition Connie currently teaches voice production classes in Singing at Tertiary And Further Education institutions (TAFE). Her voice production worshop for speakers is available to the Corporate Sector and offered through TAFE as well as the University of Western Australia (UWA) Extension. (Next workshop: Saturday February 12 9.00 - 1.00pm and Saturday February 19, 9.00am - 1.00pm) |
